Context: The Sommelier’s Box is a monthly wine box subscription in Honolulu with a goal of taking the guesswork out of discovering delicious and exciting new wines, while also saving kama‘āina money. SB wanted to increase incremental revenue via email. By reaching their wine box subscribers’ inboxes, Team Vibe built enticing, informative email campaigns once per month encouraging sales of individual wine bottles. Throughout the campaign, emails generated a sales rate of 9.9% (where 9.9% of all email subscribers placed an order directly from an email).
