Context: Hawai'i Youth Symphony's annual He Makana O Na Mele: The Gift of Music fundraiser is essential for sustaining music education programs for students across Hawai'i. After pivoting from their traditional in-person gala in 2020, 2021, and 2022, the organization needed to maintain meaningful connections with their donor community while promoting their new televised event format. This social media campaign featured a cohesive grid of 6 Instagram Reels designed to drive engagement and participation. The strategic content series highlights multiple ways for supporters to get involved—from the online silent auction and televised event watch parties to convenient phone and online donation options—creating an immersive digital experience that brings the community together in celebration of young musicians and the transformative power of music education.
